Late this afternoon, Samsung Australia said the allegations were "not true".
"Our findings indicate that the person mentioned in the article used a security program called VIPRE [antivirus software] that mistook a folder created by Microsoft Live Application for ... key logging software, during a virus scan."
Plausible denial?

The same type of thing goes on with supermarket "rewards" cards...gathering information.
All big companies engage in information gathering but some are more surreptitious than others.
That's true what you say...... I won't have a rewards card simply because of their " prying " eyes .... What I buy ... is my business.
Their only business should be " excellent customer service " before I hand over the " CASH " .
