Try to copy it into the directory %GimpPath%\lib\gtk-2.0\2.10.0\loaders

Where gimp path is most likely X:\Program Files (x86)\GIMP-2.0

<Late Edit> Hmm... may not work... depends on how the DLL was registered during installation. I'll download UFRAW and install it to see... brb...

libgdk_pixbuf-2.0-0.dll comes with Gimp.

Possibilities:

Your Gimp is 64 bit and UFRAW is 32 bit? Or vice versa.

You can't load 32 bit dlls from System32. It might work from the WOW directory - %systemroot%\WOW<something> - but you should not have to put them there because Windows should find them it they have registered correctly.

You are running a 32 bit Gimp on a 64 bit system? If it is 32 bit, did it install in "\Program Files (x86)"? I've had no end of grief with 32 bit apps installed in "\Program Files" because Windows will not look there for 32 bit dlls.

Hi Mithrandir

Gimp is in program files so it is 64bit so if I install a 32bit Gimp will this solve the problem.

Works on mine... using 32-bit versions of both.

Windows 7
Gimp (x86)
UFRaw (x86)

It would only make a difference if UFRAW is 32 bit, which from the web page it looks like it might be. There is a posting on Flickr lamenting the lack of a 64 bit version.

What Gimp version is it? I notice there are two 2.6.11 installers - one may be 32 and the other 64.

Shoddy 32 bit installers have been known to use "\Program Files", as also can happen when people override the default.
