Another moon shot. 11th Jan.

One of my better ones as far as the moon go's.

6" refractor & toucam. No extension tube or barlow. Baader fringe killer & contrast booster together.

200 frames stacked. Can't remember the toucam settings.

Thanks Danielsun.

Not as crisp as I'd like it..but are they ever? In fact I think it's by best moon pic with the toucam so far, so I'm pretty happy with it.

Seems to be a different process for the moon as opposed to processing planet shots. As soon as I applied waveletts to it in registax it looked terrible, so I just stacked & then ran it through neatimage & a slight bit of unsharp masking in picture publisher.

Just finished reprocessing this one again, just to see if I could improve on the first one. Not sure if it's an improvement or not to be honest.

Nice Moon piccy John AsiLunarhead!
Very rare to get 2 Moon pics that look alike so all Moon pics are interesting in their own right!

Hard to tell but I think your 2nd processing attempt is a bit clearer. Need to have them side by side.
