Hate hate hate

Beginning to really hate photography.........
I use a 350d and recently bought an intervalometer used it 3 times before tonight, 1/2 way through taking time lapse images tonight it died on me ruining what I was doing. Bought Nebulosity installed on my laptop and managed to get the program to recognize the 350D once managed to get some time-lapse done and now it won't recognize the camera, all I get is a busy signal from the camera. Downloaded the trial version of MaximDL, I get a busy signal from the camera. Anybody would think today is Friday 13.

You're probably getting a busy signal from the camera because the time lapse you took is taking up too much of the camera's internal memory. You'll probably have to download what you have on the SD card in your camera to get it to be recognised. Your time lapse is too large for the SD card so the camera is trying to store as much as it can onboard before it can dump to the SD card.

I have it set up to download the pix to the pc don't save to sd card. I am giving the camera plenty of time between exposures to d/l (15s exposure with 20s between). I have reset the camera on/off restarted the laptop lasts for about 2 mins and then it starts all over again.

I don't quite hate photography today.
I reinstalled EOS utility and Nebulosity and maximDL and got the camera under control of the software. But I still can't get the intervalometer to work. Ah well can't have it all my way, had a look at the warrantee on the intervalometer and it's expired so might open it up and have a look.
