Well what a nice eyepiece! I managed to get a couple of hours of viewing on wednesday before it dewed over and a little bit this evening of saturn & venus etc. I'll be going back out shortly
I compared the $39 Guan Sheng SUPERVIEW 68° 20mm to my Skywatcher Super Plossel 25mm which came with the scope. What an improvement! Much sharper, brighter, and the wide view makes viewing a pleasure! I used it with my barlow on a few nebs (butterfly, lagoon etc and split Rigel Kent - the only double i know so far

) The stars on the edges are very blurred but i'm running an f5 10" dob. I think i need to save for one of those coma correctors!
I next tested my new $59 2 inch Guan Sheng SUPERVIEW 68° 30mm. I was even more impressed. This is an excellent eyepiece - it's so easy on the eye, very very very clear and sharp and it just draws in those nebulas, clusters and saturn looked pin sharp although small

I don't whether it's a 2" thing but it is so nice to look through!
I then tested the $79 Guan Sheng 2" Barlow (with 1.25" adaptor) ED. Up until now i've been using a $59 Saxon 2x 1.25" Barlow. The 2" GS barlow is much better, images seem more clear and sharp. Very well made and the 1.25" adaptor means i'll be using it all the time!
Overall, very impressed especially for the price. Now i need to start saving for a coma corrector and/or some higher mag eyepieces for the planets.
cheers
