troglodyte needs advice

Hi all, I am currently running Stellarium on my computer and I find that it is detailed enough with my skies to allow me to do the necessary star hopping for the H-400.

However I am contemplating entering the 21st Century and I would like some suggestions on what is available that is hand held and will give me enough detail to continue my star hopping.

Hi Brian,

Mate, I don't have one, but I've seen them in action a number of times, (drum roll, please) the i-phone!

There are a number of apps for astronomy, some quite detailed too. I'd suggest shooting a PM to Wavytone & Steffen. They both frequently use their's.
