Shame that you couldnt have hung around n waited to photo one emerging from the egg Baz ... You've got a great reward right there tho all the same.
Funny that the male obliged you isnt it ?? Almost like he sensed (after a bit of moaning it sounds) that no danger was present.
Would have been funny if the chick was very new and actually saw you before the emu and imprinted you ... Hahahahahaha ... Baz the emu Dad
