People watching the eclipse (time lapse)

Hey Guys,

I thought I would take a different perspective of the Lunar Eclipse, I was set up in the field at the Green Point Observatory home of the Sutherland Astronomical Society.

The idea was to capture the hordes of people coming down the pathway and also the people looking at my scope..... the plan was was perfect in concept, however not in implementation...... there wasn't as many people as I had antipated visiting the obsevatory.

Equipment:
Canon 1000d
5 sec exposures
10 sec interval
ISO 800

I'm starting to enjoy this time lapse stuff, I find it very rewarding.
Cheers,

Trent

Very good!
I thought it was very dramatic with the moon rising to the music.

nice concept and well executed

how did you manage to keep people from
-knocking the camera
-coming up to peer through the lens

Nice Trent, and definitely original.
I found myself wishing I could see a bit of the eclipsed moon through the trees, but wasn't able to. Nice and smooth!
