Meh.....It's first year, all observing no study. Anyway I am doing an astronomy subject + physics so it's still related

Congratulations Astrogeek!  You'll find a way to balance your priorities. If I vaguely remember, my first year was seen through the bottom of a glass  , and the subsequent years weren't much better. But that was engineering back then, and my post-graduate studies were treated very differently. Which might explain why I had a lot less difficulty passing the latter courses.
