Congratulations Astrogeek! You'll find a way to balance your priorities. If I vaguely remember, my first year was seen through the bottom of a glass , and the subsequent years weren't much better. But that was engineering back then, and my post-graduate studies were treated very differently. Which might explain why I had a lot less difficulty passing the latter courses.

Good stuff! Congratulations. Now just another 7-10 years before you're driving a taxi with a piece of paper in the glove box that has your name, the word "physics", and the letters PhD on it. Don't worry, only joking! (though it's been known to happen... )

And I've seen your face somewhere, Asi! How could one forget those piercing red pupils and that evil grin?

Why would you want to do one of those, when you could be getting an ARTS DEGREE?

My nephew is half way through engineering at the moment, and you will be pleased to know that nothing has changed.

Congratulations on getting into Uni.
