How much dew in Northern Territory?

I am hoping someone with experience observing in Central Australia can answer this.

I am about to go on a 6 week holiday to the Northern Territory, traveling from Alice Springs to Darwin. I have nearly completed a 10 inch travelscope to take with me. My question is how much dew can I expect at this time of year? I want to to know whether to add a secondary heater and bring heat straps for the eyepiece and telrad.

Thanks,

Rod.

Dew...it varies. It can get down to zero degrees at night in the dry season.

Alice is a bit more dry than more north but it gets colder.

Ensure you pack for the worst & hope for the best.
