The softer side of Jupiter

This is an attempt at producing a "softer" Jupiter image, maybe more pleasing to the eye even though many details are left hidden.

It's stormy and unsettled weather here , and going to stay that way for the next few days, so this is in lieu of any new data :-(

Details: 10" f/6 newtonian, 25fps , firewire mono camera + filter wheel. Approx 850 frames in each colour, processed in batches of about 120 in Registax V3 to make 6 masters in each colour.

Masters combined in Astra Image. This time there was no extra deconvolution, gamma adjustments or unsharp masks, so the image result is a bit softer.

regards, Bird

I like the softer images, they give a more natural appearance. Not that I can talk, all my images are hard, thats because I have not the skill you have. Great image Anthony as usual. Keep em coming.
