Sideareal Technologies Drive?

Does anyone have any experience with the Sidereal Technologies drive system?

http://www.siderealtechnology.com/

Looking at it as a possibility to fit to my new GPD2 and also to replace the Synscan stepper system on my EQ6.

My main query relates to the quality of the gearboxes on the Pittman 8000 series DC servo motors. Wondering whther they would be of sufficient quality to avoid small scale high frequency errors?

I also find the option of adding a high res encoder to the ra axis and having it correct for pe to a level below 2 arc secs automatically very attractive!

cheers
Gary
