Wanted - Astro Optical Reflectors/Mounts or parts

Hi all,
Just maybe Ill get a cheque in the mail next month so Im looking about to see if anyone has any 10" or bigger AOS (Astro Optical ) Newtonians or parts to suit. Not after mint examples, the rougher the better, broken or damaged bits accepted. Old and rusty is good..... might look at other sizes but only after Astro Optical Supply Newtonians ...

Good luck with this Roger; I will be interested to see how many Goliath mounts are out there. I have one, but have not heard of any others yet.

There was an advert in the buy and sell section here in the last half of last year from a member located in the Blue Mountains. He had two AO 8 inchers on Sampson mounts. I'm sure the search function can find them.

Cheers,
Jason.

Hi Roger,

I have an AOS 8" f/6 optical tube assembly all in well kept condition. The primary was recoated some years back and also has Quartz overcoat. I know you say your after 10" or larger, just thought I would let you know I have the 8" if your interested. Would be very very cheap (ie <$100).

ok, realistically I don't NEED any more mounts but I can do with little bits and pieces that you may have taken off over the years and is clogging up your shed. Not fussed what it is it might help me complete a mount. Will look at old or damaged OTA's but I dont want anything but parts really
