Tequilla anyone?

Hi guys,
Had a reasonable night last night. Spent a bit of time imaging NGC1566, the spanish dancer galaxy in Dorado.
Pretty happy with this one! Certainly much better than my last go at it.
Mag 10.3, Dist 45MLY.
21x4min ISO800 images. C9.25 @ f/6.3. Canon 300D.

Cheers

robby Rob Charteris would be very interested in this one as well as me. we spent a few hours looking at it through a 30 scope at Duckadang this year. Not a bad sight is it!

Yes great image there Robby. The spiral arms are quite unique. I can see why it has that name.

Yep Photoshop all the way... I'm getting pretty quick now. I have written a VB macro to reduce alot of the mouse clicks etc...
Dark frame is very quick.
Stacking is also quick.
It's the aligning that takes the time!!! But with my mount almost perfectly polar aligned this is also pretty quick. About an hour from the camera to what you see on this thread.
Given the typical processing ratio of 2:1 (2x processing time compared to exposure time) I'm reckon that's ok......
Thanks for all the comments!
Cheers
