A River of Bubbles

Thought it was interesting, the moss had caught a miriad of bubbles.

Comments and critique welcomed.

Mitchell,

To be brutally honest, there isn't really anything interesting in this image.

When the image is viewed at small scale, there /is/ what appears to be an interesting light and shadow show going on, but, overall there's not much to say about the composition or the subject matter.

You need to find subjects which tell a story or capture them in such a way that they tell a story or convey an emotion, get a rise, make the viewer take a deep breath, etc.

Interesting. Perhaps I am seeing more into it, than it is really worth. I'd assume for something not to be interesting though, it would have to be of the norm, or something that is common place. Perhaps the thousands of bubbles, trapped in moss, under a sheet of clear water is a common occurance? I certainly have not seen it before, nor have I seen anyone attempt to image the lumenescence it creates before. I have seen plenty of creek water falls though.

The image was posted for interests sake, not because it has any composition, or "means" anything. It was just a weird effect that I had not seen before then.

I understand what you mean by conveying an emotion or teling a story, but that generally is in reference to landscape photography not in regards to posting a simple snapshot of an event.
