New to hobby

Hi all.
Hoping to get back to astronomy now that I have the time.
I'm sure I'll be asking advice here from time to time if you all
don't mind.
Thanks

Rich.
There is a wealth of info here, so feel free to ask away.
Astronomy is a wonderful hobby, though can lead to the wanting of more expensive astronomical tools
If you have a read through 'Beginners Start Here' .... some of your questions may have already been asked.

Welcome and ask away!

Astronomy is a great hobby/lifestyle and this forum is soooo cool. As others have often commented the quality of the advice given on this forum is excelent. The greatest astronomical minds in the country gather here and they are pleased to share their knowledge. And not just astronomy. In the last week or two questions have been answered on wiring a car stereo and how to remove a snake from your shed!!

Have fun!

That's not quite true Baz. We aren't talking about boats. That is usually described as like getting wet and tearing up $100 bills. Astro gear has a reasonable resale value.

Any committed hobbyist, no matter what hobby, could be diagnosed as being on the Asberger's spectrum. SWMBO says I am.
