Moon and Mars 31/1

Finally able to see some stars up here!!
Beautiful Moonrise over Magnetic Island last evening, with Mars to the upper left, in the constellation of Cancer. Castor and Pollux, the Gemini twins, are to the upper left of Mars.

Love them Liz,

Got that sultry look about them and any astro shot that has a palm tree in it works for me. Most definitely a major contrast to what we see out here in the bush.

Regards
Trevor

Thanks Trevor palms trees are beautiful, but the outback also has an amazing beauty of its own. Australia is certainly a contrast in scenery and extremes.

Great stuff Liz!!

Last night, I thought "Stuff it", lugged the camera and tripod outside and setup to photo the moon, given it was the only thing visible in the sky.
I just wanted something to process.

Then clouds rolled in.... didn't even get a shot of the moon. i'll try again tonight, just wish I had some scenery like yours to shoot in.
