25 Pin external socket SCSI Card.

Does anyone know where to get one these old boys? I have a scsi negative scanner and it looks like I threw out a batch of PCs and one of them had the scsi card inside. I can't see any on ebay and my wholesalers only seem to stock SAS cards these days.

Alternately, If you have one in a junk box someplace, lets do a deal

Have you got any computer wreckers there? We have a couple down here, if you get really stuck, I could see if the have anything, but I'd need a picture or some specs.

It was an adaptec 2906, I do have the disk, but any scsi card with an external 25pin D socket will do.

The wreckers are a great idea, I'll check em out next week.

Believe it or not leinad, they are both too new

The 29160 has a 68pin external and the 2940 has a 50pin external, This needs a 25pin external.

I changed the thread title.

That might do it, PM sent

I tend to toss all the old stuff so I don't have a junk box.
Got another 5 old pc's ready for a trip to the tip/recycling center tomorrow.
