Now that I've bought a second 40D, I no longer need my (
unmodded) Canon 20D.
I've loved this camera and lens, and have used it for pretty much all of my photography in 2009. You can see my
photos taken with the Canon 20D here.
It's a nice step up from the 350/400/450 series, as the body is much more solid and weighty and just feels beautiful in your hands.
The Sigma 17-70mm lens is fantastic - great at the macro end (70mm), nice and wide at 17mm and fast at f/2.8.

There is some dust motes on the sensor, but it is only visible at slow focal ratio (f/15+), and for astrophotography it won't be an issue because you use short focal ratio's, and flats will take care of them anyway.
Will supply a couple of batteries and Instruction manual. No charger or other accessories.
Lens comes with UV front filter and lens hood.
I can supply an older EOS drivers and utility disk, but you're probably better off downloading the latest software (free) from the Canon website.
