hehehe about the sun setting a bit earlier.... it rises earlier too.... I thought that it would be great not having DLS.... but the sun started rising at 330am! how wrong is that!
Afraid so Ken - my GSO O3 filter! The DSI 3 does pretty well under about 20 degrees. Really even a cooling fan might just about do the trick (have to try and rig something up).
Working on those clear skies but unreliable tonight. Looking forward to the crab and eskimo hopefully. (Crab was behind the only tree to the north at the time!)
Thinking about a 1.25 inch baader narrowband set (approx 450 us for set of 4?). Have you been happy with yours?
Thanks for the kind comments. Certainly collaboration is the way to go Doug - it makes the imaging more enjoyable. Also allows for experimentation as the amount of equipment available is much greater, better problem solving and quicker learning the varoius techniques.
