PHD, Ascom and Planetarium Software

I was trying out Ascom pulse guiding with PHD and the Starshoot Autoguider. I kept getting error messages RA property not found etc. and a comm error in eqmod.

This may seem like a silly question, but I was running PHD and Ascom and Planetarium Software Ascom/Eqmod at the same time. Could this be causing a conflict?

you should be able to run all together. i do with excellent results. when using the eqmod and pulse guide do not use the st4 port from the ss auto guider. just plug the ss auto guider via usb to the laptop then from laptop to the mount via the eqmod interface.

don't know if this is the issue. it is the only thing i could think of as the configuration between the programs and hardware is pretty simple.
are you able to communicate properly between the planetarium softwareand eqmod and the mount?

That's what i thought....must be something else

I am not using the st4 port... the planetarium software, eqmod and mount work fine on their own. tried it with a couple of different planetarium programs with the same result.

I don't know.... I'm stumped

Reinstalled all software with the current versions. Problem fixed. It was a driver conflict....
