pics of the moon ( had to do something while girlie movie on TV )

No much on TV last night thought I would shoot some pics of the moon
The last pic was taken about 4am not real sure what I have got was facing about 20 degs ( I think just a guess ) East of South. This are the details of shot, any ideas how I might improve on that type of shot with out a telescope.. going to give up the telescope as it is frustrating me like mad not being able to set it up right just going to use camera

I can see the Southern Cross, Coalsack and Eta Carinae.

the coal sack the lower dark area ???? and eta cloud area above ???

The dark area just under the Southern Cross is the Coalsack. Attached is the results of submitting the image to Astrometry.com. You can join and submit the photos you take and find some of the objects in it.
