ice in space side bar

on the left of the screen shows the soho image of the sun i clicked on it the other day and it gave me the position in r.a.and dec and i am buggered if i can find it again was it a one of or is that part down at the moment

I'm not sure where you would've seen that, Pete.

The Moon Phase page shows the rise and set times of the Moon and Sun based on your lat/long ?

i was in that section the other week and noticed the suns r.a dec and went you beauty while i park scope i can manually put the position in heaps easier .then while going through 2010 astronomy book noticed the suns position in there

As you have the LX90, if you just load the "Sun as an asteroid"
you can bring up the asteroid, hit enter and it will calc the current RA and DEC for you.
Then just hit goto and you are there
( Thats assuming you have covered all the finders etc first )

thanks andrewj all the best to you and what youve done for me and all lx 90 owners over the year

down loaded the latest star patch the other day scope is going a ok absoultly perfect
