You wait for yonks, then a dozen come all at once. Against all odds I recently sourced a SV105 LZOS for a friend. At the same time I thought I'd fish around for a wide-field Apo suitable for AP as well as visual. I managed to get a WO FLT 110 at a very attractive price. Excellent - I'm sorted.
But now I've been "deluged" with offers for:
An SV 115T - $$ to be haggled, but <AU$3200
An 'oldQ' FS106 in VG - EX condition - AU$3400
Someone's place on the TEC 110 f5.6 wait list for deposit ($1025) - Feb or Mar. delivey.
A APM/TMB 100/650 - AU$3100
and
A "well-used but optically mint" NP101is AU$2400
I'll cut to the chase. Which would you choose? Its going to be about 50/50 visual & AP. "Scope for life" as I don't want to go down the same road I did with lenses!
Thanks for your tips.
Peter
