29/11/2009 - Solar observation sketch.

Helloooo from athens/GREECE guys.
Use my CORONADO MAXSCOPE SM 60mm DOUBLE STACK 0.5A Ha together with my naglers (12-9-7-5) today.
This is a great solar scope for sketching. Too much thin and small details in my eye and i sketch exactly what i see.
Especially the filaments.
So three basic elements today in observation.
1) Polar filaments remains to SOUTH and shows activity.
2) The disk has a big number of spicules around the limb.
3) Too much spicules gathering around the loop prominence at the east.
Make a sketch of what i see today on sun and i present to you.
Sketch is a great spirit exercise and i suggest to you to be engaged with this.

Hi!! I checked out your solar sketch link, interesting stuff.
For a beginner, could you explain how you made that image? I was expected somewhat of a hand drawn sketch, but you seem to have created some sort of 3d render, with your observations.

It all seems very interesting, yet I am a little lost.
Thanks for posting!
