Just wondering if anyone knows what caused the mountains in tycho and many other craters?

Very cool shots Valentin I just started using my QHY5 to do a bit of planetary and moon shots too. Still learning. What's the best frame rate and frame resolution you find works best? I use a program called QGVideo but I found a lot of my frame have banding in the lower part like a readout problem maybe. I don't know if I should increase the exposure time?

Hi Valentin,
Excellent image - great focus and lots of detail. I had a crack at Tycho a few nights ago and did not come even close to your work - well done!

Hi orestis
The mountains within craters are caused by the actual impact that created the crater - here is some detail
