The "Be nice to others" Thread!

Hi John in Port Lincoln,

I hear you have a very nice big blue telescope. I really like your images that you are producing.

My telescope is silver and makes different pictures than yours.

Do you like my setup?

Davo, I think your first post is already off topic. Moderators, where are you? Quick! Change the thread title to something more descriptive, like "Whose telescope reigns supreme?". Hehehe...

After a few JD & cokes and Bacardis, it does not matter all that much. They all seem to go out of collimation because they start producing blurry images. Also some mysterious reflections seem to develop because there is strong ghosting on every planet and star. If you have a binoviewer it becomes completely useless. Maybe it's a chemical reaction between the Coke fumes and the delicate optical components.

good thanks mate, it fell off during the night and thus my saturn pic was out of focus.

I kept using birds hairdryer to get rid of the dew and bumped it!

Can't understand the dew though, being so close to lake and all??????

Is the minibar attachment being marketed yet? How do you propose to stabilise the Minibar when the dob is tilted on the wedge? Perhaps you could also package with some of Margo's bottomless wine glasses...
