Ah tis a Skipper butterfly. Friendly lil things. Slightly off focus (like with human portraiture, get the eyes sharp). Good find, good attempt! I've just been out in the garden and see the largest mozzie I've ever seen (nearly 3/4" in length, I kid you not!) - after seeing this one, I ran like hell, and I'm not kidding.
