Hi Guys I have a home made equatorial mount that is very good. The worms and the gears are of excellent quality. The mount can handle up to an 18- 20 inch telescope. I was wondering if it was possible to fit the motors of the losmandi and the Gemini to this mount. I know that I will have to make some modifications, but is it feasable.

Regards Cristian

Can't see why not Cristian. You might need couplers and the original gearboxes as well. Got any pics of your handy work?

Yes, the Gemini system comes seperately for fitting to other mounts. All the parameters (encoder res etc) are programable. Stronger motors are also available for bigger mounts.
