Red Rump Parrot.

Took these pics at lunch time today,we used to see flocks of up to

20 to 30 or more,regularly.

But that was years ago,unfortunatly we have'nt seen the for ages,

just the odd couple of birds recently,today there was two males.

I was pleased to get these pics,using the L400,no lean or tripod,kept

having to make adjustments as he kept in shade mainly.

They are a lovely looking parrot,i hope others might enjoy these pics

of this beautiful bird
