Cloudy Nights access problems?

Just wondering if anyone else is having trouble getting on to Cloudy Nights today?

When I type in the address www.cloudynights.com, I keep getting the message:

You don't have permission to access /ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php/Cat/0 on this server.

Can anybody help?

Cheers
Chris

Yes, we are still in maintenance mode. We are archiving posts older than 01/01/08. Those older threads will still be accessible thru the archive but you won't be able to add new posts to them.

Best regards,

Pegster - Cloudy Nights Administrator

New message up.

Cloudy Nights is currently down for maintenance...

We are making some database changes and the operations are taking much longer than anticipated.

We do not currently have an absolute time-frame as to when the we will be operational.

We appreciate your patience.

Clear Skies!
The Cloudy Nights Team

I have never been farther south than 30 Degrees North, I have heard the sights of the Southern Milky Way are fantastic, Is what they say about the Jewel Box cluster by the Southen Cross True? That it is a very Magnificent sight in a small APO refractor. Some day I will have to go south to see these sights, I used to read all about them in Sky And Telescope over the years, as Walter Scott Houston said the Southern Skys Got all of the Good Stuff! My Questar is fully capable of being used in either hemisphere.
