More Cassiopiea dust and RN

Here are a grouping of small reflection nebulae in Cassiopiea. They
aren't much, but the surrounding molecular cloud has some fascinating
shapes in it. The field is very faint and needs more time (what
doesn't), but it will have to do. vdB 7 and 9 are contained in the ASA
luminance image while all three (vdB 7,8,9) are on the low res color
data image (to show perspective).

Now, that's really interesting. Looks like someone's painted a layer of brown over the blue reflection nebs. Goes from darker to lighter back to darker against the background with very interesting transitions. Visually one the best you've posted here I reckon. I like it a lot. Thanks for showing.

I will be presenting my basic dust processing algorithm at the Advanced Imaging Conference in San Jose, CA the end of October. After the meeting my Powerpoint presentation will be posted on their website www.aicccd.com for anyone to download.

I like this one. Some subtle reflection nebula going on there makes it
a really nice contrast.

Greg.

Really nice shot, Tom...the details in that dust are amazing and the RN just adds a nice touch to the overall effect.
