After some testing my Raynox macro lens a did this image of I don't know how I call it in english (in latin it is coenagrion puella). Azure Damselfly ???
This animal is very calm and easy to shoot. So I took one to my home and took some pics of it. Here is my best one. Hope you like it.
Taken with my Panasonic FZ-18 and macro Raynox DCR-250.
WOW ... that is amazing Roman!! Look at those eyes ... and ...mouth!!
That looks like like a nice little macro lens!! I have a FZ28 - have to have a look and see if it fits!!
That's a super shot - those Raynor lenses are very good. I wish my local damsels were so easy to deal with, I can't usually get within 3' of one of them...
Liz: I just recommend this macro lens to my friend which also own a FZ-28. I bought my Raynox from Ebay (cause I can't find it in stories in my coutry). It is much better lens than original panasonic macro (it propably just ordinary magnifying glass with all chromatic aberations ...) Raynox consist from 3 glasses. And as you can see, the aberations are minimal. With 18x zoom of panasonic I can achieve very similar images like Canon's mpe65 macro lens with 1:2 macro mode. It cause of small 1/2" chip of panasonic and a big crop factor (around 6x in compare with canon's 1,6x ...)
