Mars visiting M35

Hi all,

Mars is in Gemini now and very close to M35.

Done with Canon 350d mod. and Canon EF 200 L II, 10x(only)30s with ISO800.
Unexpected, that you can see also the little cluster NGC 2158 and the nebula IC 443.

cheers

Hi Werner
Really nice image - it is good to see Mars getting some attention. What star is close to Mars? I am guessing that Mars is the brighter of the two.

That's a wonderful capture Werner.

There's a lot to see in that image.

Cheers

Hi,

thanks for your nice comments!

The camera was tracked and the brighter star is Mars, the other one is Propus (eta gemini).

regards

werner
