I've been thinking about this for a while and have decided it's time to part with the Celestron 9.25" SCT.
This is a terrific scope and has delivered excellent results in often very average conditions. It also has a bit of a history. This scope replaced my original which was found to be less than exemplary. Celestron and supplier went out of their way to make up for the error and the result was I received a very nice unit - which could now be yours.
These scopes are renowned for their abilities, particularly when it comes to imaging (DSO and, particularly, planetary).
This one is in very good shape and has been seldom used over the last year or so.
It comes with Kendrick heater control unit and a heater strap. There are other accessories which may be of interest and will/may be thrown in to sweeten the deal, depending on what you are offering.
I'm looking for a very good quality 12" newtonian, preferably with custom-made optics. I'm really only after an OTA as I have a SkyWatcher EQ6 to mount it on. It'd be great if it had rings and a mounting plate to go straight on top of that.
Anyway...please contact me via pm if interested in talking about a trade. Am happy to add cash at my end if need be, but it'd need to be a fairly decent newt to warrant additional funds + scope + accessories.
