A couple of Local Birds

Been fortunate enough to be in a position to "catch" a couple of birds.
First one is the mopoke, or boobook owl. It flew straight past me in the local National Park.
The second is the brahminy kite as it was wheeling above me whilst I was fishing. I had caught a fish and put it on a rock for the kite to get. Not managed the actual "grab" yet.

Bob - love #2 - that's a fine shot. Looks like you woke the Owl up in #1!
