Would you be so kind as to post a close up of the top of the tripod. What is the mount arrangement there - what thread?

The tripod has a dome head; that is, a slightly rounded top. There is what appears to be a 5/8" (not absolutely certain on the size) thumbscrew. The thumbscrew is removable. It can be replaced with a different size bolt.
