GSO 8'' or SCT 9.25'' Celestron

Hi
Looking for scope to do both lunar ans DSI imaging .Whats your thoughts GSO RC 8'' or Celestron 9.25'' SCT

Did you mean DSO objects (deep sky objects)? Or did you mean imaging with a Meade DSI camera?

If you intend imaging DSO then the GSO seems to be giving good results.

If lunar and planets the C9.25 would be better. SCTs have a brighter centre spot for planets but are soft away from the centre of the image. Star sizes gecome large off centre.
