[NOT REQUIRED] Looking for Scope

Hi guys. I have my Binos and want to get my first scope, but with my wedding next April, funds are damn tight and I don't want to wait another year! I am looking to see if anyone has any telescopes that are wanting to sell. Budget is around $200. I am in South East QLD so that would be the preferred area so that I can pick it up, but as long as transport costs won't cost as much as the thing is worth, than that isn't a problem.

I know that for those funds there isn't a whole lot that I can get. I could buy a new 130mm Newt or a small Refractor and if need be I would settle for that. It won't be my last scope by any means. Once the wedding is done, than I can buy myself a nice big Dob. But for now, I am desperate to get into the game more.

I would most likely want to stick with a Reflector, but I'll look at anything anyone wants to offer.

You have no chance of getting much of telescope , even secondhand , for $200 .

You will need to save your pennies for a bit longer.

Ian, I bought from an advertisement on Ice In Space a 10" BT252 dobsonian for $225 not long ago and am very happy with it. Justin, if you're not in a hurry, you'll definitely find something.
