Multiple targets...

So this is what I've been up to lately, in no particular order except alphabetical.
All images are 10" newt-40D-unguided-ISO3200 except Zwicky at Iso 1600.

8Zw388 - 30x1min - An asterim of galaxies in Virgo, there are so many faint fuzzies in this patch of sky that 30 minutes just doesn't do it justice.
Would somebody please take a few hours of this patch of sky and show me how it should be done.
Co-ords: RA 14:15:06, Dec -00:29:23.

M22 - 60x30sec - Globular cluster, seemed to come out alright.

M27 - 94x30sec - Dumbbell nebula, needs more time for sure, suffers DSLR Ha deficiency.

M31 - 260x30sec - Just over 2 hours now of Andromeda.

NGC253 - 120x30sec - 1 hour of the Sculptor galaxy.

And that's it...that I'm willing to share,
Hope you enjoy them as much as I did making them.

JD

An excellent series of images Justin.

The Dumbbell and Andromeda are just beautiful. Longer subs would've been ideal but you have really done a great job with these.

Well done.

Well Humpty Doo JD, all nice shots indeed The M31 shot looks pretty high res, bit lacking in colour maybe? The dumbell looks great.

The faint fuzzies shot looks like a bright light shinning through heshin though

Nice job

Mike

Like the Dumbell best out of this collection Justin.

Look forward to seeing your images when you get your guiding set up and running.

Matt, Doug & Les...Glad you like em guys, still pretty new to this so learning new stuff all the time, I can see why people get hooked on this hobby.

Mike, I think you're being a bit generous with "bright" light behind heshin, more an eco-friendly 15 watts.
Struggled with the colour on M31, had a persistant green tinge, correcting in shadow/highlights colour helped but getting bluer arms gave a nasty pink core to the galaxy.
I need more tricks in my post-processing basket me thinks.

Barb & David, I too am looking forward to having my autoguider back , here's hoping it's an easy fix solution.
Planetary nebula have such beautiful colours, would love to get a nice collection of them.

Very nice efforts in there Justin, particularly considering 30 sec subs. I really enjoyed the detail and colours in your M22! Looks like you have beautiful dark skies!?

Very nice set of pics Justin. Andromeda up close is very well resolved and processed. Looks great. The dumbbell is also very detailed, lovely colors. Also like your rendition of the globular cluster. Very nice star colours. Good work.

Mighty fine work there Justin,

And with a GSO 10" NEWT Too? Who'd a thunk it?

Excellent work, that image scale is humungous!

Keep em coming.

Cheers

Chris
