Keyhole from 10 Chain Hill Obs

Didn't get much data on this one, had to snatch subs out of sucker holes.
All up it's around 21 minutes of exposure, 20 sec subs, at ISO 1600.
It's a pretty heavy crop as you can tell.
scope - 8" newt
camera- Canon 20d
mount - Mini Tower
stacked in DSS, processed in CS3 and Paint Shop Pro.

That is nice isn't it, a couple of hours of that would look spectacular.

(Adds another object to forever growing todo list.)

Fine effort JJJ, for such short subs, yea I know what you mean when it comes to weather conditions, it has been terrible here for ages, well done indeed.

It's great that you can get these nice images from 20 sec subs Jeanette.
Most nights we don't get 21 min between clouds.

Me likes Jeanette. I didn't know you were shooting this. Has cropped down nicely. I love the colours. I'm only now learning just how well colours are preserved from dark sky sites.

Lovely image considering only 20 sec subs JJJ. More exposure can only improve whether longer or just more.
Well done.
