Posting test of dated pastel sketches

I am only testing here to see if my profile image updated although I threw a few older pastel images in for your viewing entertainment.

1) Crescent Moon observed over Portland Oregon Autumn 2008. Sketched on 19" X 25" black pastel paper.
2) Lunar Saturn conjunction observed. Autumn 2008. Sketched on blue ridgeline 19" X 23" pastel paper.
3) Orion Nebula observed from dark skies (note red color tinges observed on fringe of cusps) ; semi light polluted skies; and very light polluted skies. All three sketches on 9" X 12" Black Strathmore Artagain pastel paper.
4) Saturn rings observed edge-on in mid Dedember 2008. Sketched on Strathmore black Artagain 20" X 25" pastel paper. Imaginary Saturn moon surface in foreground as artists conception.
5) Lunar-Venus_Jupiter conjunction observed while driving in Portland rush hour traffic with fog forming fast. Sketched on 19" X 25" black pastel paper. (Posted in NASA's Spaceweather.com early December 2008.)

Thanks again Mike. I guess I am not understanding the avatar setting as I thought just putting in the profile photo would display it to my general posts. I'll look for the avatar setting now. So as others can see who I am (:
