Amazing what you can do with a few symbols! Nice moon.
Puts me in the mood for star-gazing. When is it going to clear out?

I had the whole Starship Enterprise many many years ago - across many pages of lineprinter printout! Yes I like ASCII art.

Somewhere out there is a Star Wars movie done in ascii art... will see if I can find it.
EDIT: that wasn't hard: Star Wars Asciimation.
Looks like the same one I saw some time back, but when I saw it you had to use Telnet.

Simon - yeah, same here. Saw it over telnet some time ago. It's a very popular animation and very clever. Funny noone has bothered doing it with the more recent prequel trilogy

Came across the Star Wars Ascii a few years ago while researching turbocharger based DIY gas turbines, very well done and must of taken him ages to create.
His jet powered beer cooler is also a classic.
