Hi Folks
I have written a bit of a blurb on our observing night here on Friday night. (See our "Blog" page below)

Nice one Ian, great report and sounds like a great night!
I missed my dark sky opportunities friday and saturday.. at around 7:30pm both nights, clouds were everyone so I called it off.. then by 9pm the sky was clear

I'll be kicking myself all month for missing 2 great clear nights with no moon..

I did catch Maccholz next to M45 through my binos, but it's not quite the same as from a dark site..

Me too!
I missed observing with the dave47tuc gang and an all too rare perfect cloudless Melbourne night last night due to my rotten head cold/flu

As if get that in the middle of summer near new moon
