LOL!!!
When you go to the world map, it looks like there are some folks that have their own private islands!!!
Either they hit the Big Lottory or can't enter their coordinates correctly =-)
PS - Glad to see I'm the only one in the SE US - wouldn't want the place to get crowded - lol

Looks like a couple of islands around NZ and Tassy that I've never known of as well, maybe they're out in a dingy or something, must be on Sat-net.
Hmmm there are three other with in a 200kms of me! and I thought I was the only north coaster here.
regards, CS

Aha One of those would be Oldboy, he's from Launceston, I'd better tell him (in a fake pommy accent) "I say Oldboy, your dot's in the wrong place"...Then again he might just want to stand out from the crowd...

Yes, you are! Didn't mean to imply otherwise. I should be more concerned about getting my eyeballs down there to observe some southern hemisphere skies.

When the new IceMap is finished, you'll be able to see more more more!
But that's still 465 days away, according to Terry's timer

mmm. I've looked at using google. but putting hundreds of members locations into their API would make for a hefty page download.
it could still be used. say as a link from the current zoomed-in view. but using it exclusively would make browsing through the maps painfully slow.
only 452 days to go

Mojo, I understand to some degree what you mean.. But i was thinking more along the lines of adding such links to peoples signatures.

The west coast of Oz is not exactly swarming with red dots either.
