Advise about binocular astronomy

Hi; could anyone please advise me on the best way to attach a red dot finder to the central mounting bar of my 20x90mm binos? I thought about double-sided tape but would prefer (if available) a more stable and lasting fixture such as a bar clamp with a dovetail plate for instance. I haven't found anything purpose-made online and searching at local hardware stores for bits and pieces has not been fruitful. Would be grateful for some ideas. Thanks.

G'day Geoff, how are you. I have the "Far-Sight" as well, it works well and is a nicely machined tool but I use it with another pair of binos on my second tripod. (I try to have a couple set up for my kids) - I didn't want to buy a second unit just yet in the hope I might find a cheaper but equally functional alternative . Guess I gotta keep looking some more. Thanks.
