Meteorite talk Wednesday 15th April at MPAS

At the April 15 general meeting of the MPAS at The Peninsula School in Mt Eliza I will be giving a talk on meteorites. The meeting kicks off around 8:00pm with the normal business and probably around 8:15 to 8:30 I expect my talk will commence. I will have samples of several types of meteorite (including my 11kg Campo called "Aussie" for reasons that will become apparent when you see it). Anyone who attended my talk at the ASV a few weeks ago will realise this is a slightly extended version of the one I gave at that meeting. Not only will I have meteorites and impact materials to look at, but will also have several dinosaur teeth and reproduction skull of "Lucy". At the end of the meeting, you will be able to come up and touch a piece of space for yourself. For directions of how to get there visit the MPAS site:

Admission is free and open to anyone with an interest.
