NGC253 (repro)
Here's a repro of NGC253 based on images I took at Astrofest last year. 100 x 1 min. using the DSI II pro through my ED80.

Dang! That's a fine looking repro Peter. Don't recall seeing the original, but really like what you've come up with here. Details are sharp, yet subtle. Nice one!

That is very nice indeed Peter. Lots and lots of detail. You've a right to be proud of this one.

Wow - thanks for all the fantastic feedback Jase, Jeanette, Troy, Darren, Frank, Andrew and Greg. I've been meaning to have another go at processing this data for some time. I've learned a lot about PS since last August but still a long way to go. It's also been a long time since I've had a good dark site. There's only so much you can do in Brisbane.
Cheers,
Peter

Thats a real cracker of an image Peter - you should submit it to Meade to show them what the DSI 2 is capable of doing as it beats the pants of anything Ive seen in their advertising

I agree with Allan, a fine mono image indeed, especially for just a 3.25" scope

Really nice image Peter. Nice to see the DSI doing such a great job. I guess it depends on who's using it

Thanks Allan, Mike and Dan. It's also good to see these DSI's gaining popularity with quite a few of the IIS members. Hard to beat at their current price.

Thanks Barb, David, Fred and Louie. Colour is quite a challenge from home with my portable set-up but might have a go at it this year at Astrofest.
