Just a heads up for anyone who may be interested.

Last year a mate of mine, Andrew McAuley, disappeared on a solo attempt to cross the Tasman sea in a kayak. The documentary of this story, Solo, is being aired in the ABC on April 16, at 20:30.

Yeah, sad but inspiring story...really look forward to watching this. There was a great article in the 2007 3rd quarter Australian Geographic magazine, "Trial By Tasman", well worth the read.
