SOLD Intes MN74 astrograph price drop

Hi
Thought I would check if anyone was interested in this scope before I put it on Astromart.
Its an Russian made Intes 180 mm F4 Mak Newt astrograph ( MN74 )
It has JMI motorized focuser and Rigel Systems nFocus controler
Also losmandy style dovetail , fan , 50 mm finder , Bobs Knobs , Case.
The corrector has a couple of small smudges and a bit of dust but I don't think its worth cleaning yet.
The tube and cap have some small paint chips and a 3 drill hole from guide scope rings .
The eyecup on the finder looks a bit perished.
new price from the US is $3100 USD plus shipping etc which I guess makes it over $5,000 AUD

Sell $2800 AUD
Now $2300 AUD

Thanks
Zane

Having had the privilege of using this scope at Zane's, to take some pretty pictures (if anyone wants to see what this telescope is capable of, ask), I'd say this is a steal. I wish I had the funds!

I shouldn't even be thinking this.....but...

Zane, is the finder a brand name one and is that a lug on the finder eyepiece end where an illuminator can be screwed in? I don't know much about these scopes apart from the rave about them (didn't Eddie T have the same scope?) but what is the coverage like corner to corner on a 20D chip? What would be the largest size chip that could be used on the scope?

Thanks

Thanks H and Hi Paul
The scope would cover a 20D chip well but vignettes on a 5D also some aberation is more obvious in the corners of the 5D .
On my 350D the stars just start looking out of round in the corners at 100%
The finder is a Russian one , no input for a iluminator.

Thanks

I'd venture to suggest that the MPCC would clean up the corners even, worth a try anyway. They are indeed fantastic scopes.

As far as I know with a larger diameter focuser and a good corrector this scope is very good for a full frame. See the Hutech site. I would predict that the Paracorr PL1106 would give a flatfield and very little vignetting even on a full frame.
